On April 29th, 8th graders Hillary Jacques and Methulia Medage competed at the American Debate Leagues High School Championship. The team won 8th place with a 2-1 record and Methulia won 1st place speaker overall in her division 🏆 Congrats to these girls for starting the high school competition earlier … they don’t call us Early Scholars for no reason!
This weekend some of our high schoolers also debated at the 2023 NYCFL State Championships. Brandon Tung who debates with his school, Stuyvesant made it all the way to the Octafinal round. Annie Li also debates with Stuyvesant and made it to the Semifinal round.
